You're not stuck because you're doing it wrong.Β
You're stuck because it's not really yours yet.
You've been showing up. Creating consistently. Doing the work.
But something still feels off. The results are inconsistent. The content feels slightly forced. And the harder you push, the less it seems to change.
That's not a strategy problem.
That's a you problem β and I mean that in the best way.
This free 5-minute quiz identifies which part of your performance as a creator is holding everything else back. Not your tools. Not your niche. Not your workflow.
You're the main input. Let's figure out what's getting in the way.

More effort isn't the answer. You've already proven that.
You've bought the courses. Tried the strategies. Maybe rebranded, upgraded your gear, hired someone who gave you advice that felt smart but didn't quite fit.
Some things worked. Most didn't stick. And you still can't figure out why.
Here's what I kept missing for years β and what most content advice never addresses:
Any system you build is only as good as the person running it.
It's not AI vs. human effort. It's not strategy vs. execution. It's misalignment vs. alignment.
If your ideas aren't clear, your content won't be clear. If you're watering down your opinions β and most creators do this without realizing it β your audience will feel it, even if they can't name it.
And if you've never done the harder work of figuring out what you actually think, believe, and stand for?
Everything you build will feel a little borrowed. A little safe. A little forgettable.
Not because you're doing it wrong.
Because you haven't put enough of yourself into it yet.

Get My Performance ScoreYou don't need a new system. You need more of yourself in the one you have.
Most creators hit a plateau and start looking outward.
New tools. Better software. A different niche. A coach with a proven framework.
I did the same thing. For ten years.
What I didn't realize β what took an uncomfortable conversation with a podcast coach to finally see β is that I didn't have a problem with my strategy. I had a problem with my input.
I was creating from other people's ideas. Watered-down concepts from my coaching certification. Safe takes that didn't really reflect how I thought about anything.
There was nothing wrong with the system. There wasn't enough of me in it.
Here's the thing about imposter syndrome that nobody talks about: it usually means you care deeply about what you make. You don't want to disappoint your audience. You don't want to say something wrong.
But in a world full of content, caring isn't enough. It takes conviction to stand out. And conviction requires clarity β clarity about what you actually think, what tensions you're wrestling with, what you believe to be true even when it's uncomfortable to say.
You can't fake that. And you can't borrow it from someone else's framework.
The work is figuring out what's yours. Everything else gets easier after that.
A 10-question quiz that shows you exactly where to start.
Not with your content calendar. Not with your posting frequency.
With you.
The Creator Performance Quiz is built on research from the High Performance Institute β one of the most studied frameworks on what actually drives sustained, meaningful performance.
What makes it different is what it measures.
Not tactics. Not strategy. Not follower counts or engagement rates.
It measures the five internal levers that determine how clearly, boldly, and consistently you show up as a creator:
- How clear you are on your ideas and point of view
- How much energy you actually have to create
- How much courage you bring to your work
- Whether you're doing the right work or just more of it
- How well your work moves the right people to act
Ten questions. About five minutes. You'll walk away knowing your overall score, your strongest lever, your biggest blind spot, and one specific thing to focus on in the next seven days.
Not a list of everything that's broken. One place to start.
Take the Creator Performance QuizMost creators try to fix everything at once. That's why nothing changes.
The quiz measures five areas. Each one is proven to impact how you perform as a creator. But they're not equal β and they don't all need work at the same time.
One of them is quietly running the show.
Clarity Knowing what you stand for, who you're talking to, and what you actually think about your topic. This is the most common blind spot. Not because creators are confused β but because they've never slowed down long enough to define their own point of view. When clarity is low, everything feels forced. When it's high, creating gets easier almost immediately.
Energy You can have the clearest ideas in the world and still not execute them if you're running on empty. This isn't about hustle. It's about having enough fuel to create consistently without burning out or going quiet for weeks at a time.
Courage This is the one most creators don't want to look at. Courage is what gets you to publish without over-editing. To say the thing you actually think instead of the safer version. To stop hiding behind perfection and let your real point of view be seen.
Productivity Not doing more. Doing the right things. Most stuck creators aren't lazy β they're busy doing work that doesn't move the needle because they haven't gotten clear on what actually matters for them specifically.
Influence Creating work that moves the right people β not everyone, not the algorithm, the right people β to actually do something. Think. Feel. Reach out. Say yes.
These five levers work together. But improving even one of them creates a ripple.
The quiz tells you which one to pull first.
AboutΒ ShawnΒ
I was a creator for ten years before I figured any of this out.
I had the certifications. The coaching training. The content strategy courses. I was putting in the work β podcasting, writing, showing up consistently.
And almost nothing was growing.
What I didn't want to admit was that most of what I was creating wasn't really mine. It was watered-down ideas from my coaching certification. Concepts I'd learned from other people, slightly repackaged. Safe. Technically correct. Completely forgettable.
I wasn't adding anything new. Nothing personal. No tension. No real point of view.
A podcast coach eventually said it plainly: I didn't have an ownable idea. That conversation was uncomfortable. It was also the most useful thing anyone had said to me in years.
So I started doing the harder work. Reflecting. Writing. Figuring out what I actually thought β not what I'd been taught to think. I started noticing the tensions I kept coming back to: AI versus human-generated work. You inside your process versus absent from it. Creator-owned ideas versus borrowed ones.
Those tensions became the lens I created from. And slowly β not overnight, but steadily β things started to shift. The writing had more edge. The podcast had more direction. The right people started paying attention.
I built this quiz because most content advice skips the part that actually matters. It's either too generic β just post more, be consistent β or it's tactical in a way that ignores the human side entirely. The fear. The energy. The self-trust.
I've been a certified high performance coach since 2015. And what I know now is that becoming a better creator starts with becoming a clearer, more aligned version of yourself.
The tools, the systems, the strategies β they all work better when you do.

Your score isn't a grade. It's a starting point.
Most assessments tell you what's wrong and leave you to figure out the rest. This one is different.
Based on where you land, there's a clear next step β not a generic plan, but a focused one built around you. Your thinking. Your creative style. How you naturally work.
Because here's what I've noticed: the insight from the quiz is usually pretty immediate. Creators take it and think oh β that's it. That clarity feels good.
But a few days later it starts to fade. Not because the insight was wrong. Because knowing what needs to change and knowing your way of changing it are two different things.
That's what the next step is for.
High Performers β Score 40 and above
You're performing well. The goal now is precision.
A one-hour strategy session to sharpen two or three key habits and tighten your direction. Not an overhaul. A fine-tune.
Growing Creators β Score 30 to 39
You have momentum. You just need focus.
A 30-minute performance call to pick one priority and build a clear seven-day plan around it. One thing. Done well.
Developing Creators β Score 20 to 29
The foundation is there. Now it needs to be built on.
Weekly support and the right resources from the library β matched to where you actually are, not a generic curriculum.
Getting Started β Score under 20
Everyone starts somewhere. The goal here is clarity, not speed.
A short foundation path β the best videos and resources, in the right order β so you're building on something solid from the beginning.
None of these are cookie-cutter. The point isn't to hand you a system.
It's to help you become a clearer version of yourself β and let everything else follow from that.
